Welcome

The impact of millions of home foreclosures is devastating communities across the nation. These impacts have many layers - from the families who lose their homes and their good credit to neighborhoods reeling from vacant properties, from local communities facing declining property values to entire regions facing a broad economic malaise.

Nonprofit agencies have taken a leadership role in confronting the foreclosure crisis with innovative programs to address these problems. Doug Dylla Consulting has specialized in working with nonprofit agencies and their partners to plan, develop, deploy and document these innovative programs, including:

  • Homeownership Preservation Programs
  • Foreclosure Intervention Counseling Programs
  • Community Stabilization Programs
  • Financial Education Programs
  • Web-Based Homebuyer Education Programs
  • Regional Collaborative Development

Dylla brings a unique blend of practical knowledge, years of experience and creative approaches to every project.

Our work includes applied research projects, environmental scans, documentation of best practices, program design and implementation, strategic planning and more. Contact us to discuss your project today and find out how we can help!

What's New

In June 2010, a web-based needs assessment survey of nonprofit housing organizations was deployed by Doug Dylla Consulting using primarily an email list of HUD counseling agencies. All told, 706 respondents from 630 different organizations completed the survey. A summary of the results from this survey can be downloaded here: 2010 Nonprofit Needs Report Bullet Summary.pdf

A full report of this survey will be posted in mid-October 2010. Congratulations to incentive prize winners Augustine Cox of Bethel Housing Counseling Agency, Lauren Anderson of Neighborhood Housing Services of New Orleans and Jimilyn Caffery of Northern Circle Indian Housing Authority.
